The Instant Fence Wireless Dog Fence by Petsafe is easy to set up, safe, and portable! This fence comes with a light weight receiver with 6 levels of correction, including a warning beep only mode for training. For multi pet homes, extra receivers are available (sold separately). With no need to bury wires or put up poles, this wireless fence is not only easy to set up, it's also portable! The range of this wireless pet fence is up to 180ft diameter circle with the transmitter at its center. If you would like to increase the area covered, simple purchase additional transmitters (sold separately) and overlap their boundaries to create a larger range for your pet to play in.

How Does It Work?
This Wireless Fence works by plugging the transmitter into a standard 110 volt outlet and then adjust the signal radius to the appropriate distance for your yard. Since the transmitter's signal operates through walls and other obstacles, it can be places in an out-of-the-way spot such as a garage or closet. The receiver(s) on your pet(s) collar picks up on the signal. As long as the receiver is receiving the signal from the transmitter, nothing happens and your pet can run and play freely. When your pet approaches the edges of the transmitter's boundary, the receiver will emit a warning beep to alert your pet that they are straying too far. If your pet continues to move out of the signal's radius, they will receive a static correction that will startle, but not harm your pet. With a little training, your pet will quickly learn the boundaries of this invisible fence.
The boundary of this invisible fence is adjustable anywhere between 30' to 180' diameter in a perfect circle with the transmitter at the center, this shape can not be changed. Adding additional transmitters increases the coverage area and creates a boundary shape made up of intersecting circles. Your pet(s) may cross between coverage areas where the circular boundaries overlap.

The transmitter must stay dry and it creates a perfectly circular boundary area with the transmitter at its center. Please carefully consider whether this pet containment option is right for you and your yard before purchasing.
The Instant Fence Wireless Dog Fence is recommended only for dogs 10 lbs or more. If your pet is small than this we recommend considering other invisible fence options.
This invisible fence is NOT recommended for dogs that are difficult to train or those with thick fur as the receiver may not produce a strong enough static deterrent to contain your pet. |
