Instant Fence Extra Transmitter

The Instant Fence Extra Transmitter by Petsafe allows you to increase the range of your Instant Fence Wireless Dog Fence. This item is an extra transmitter ONLY. Instant Fence Wireless Dog Fences are sold separately.

Each transmitter creates a adjustable circular pet containment area of between 30ft to 180ft in diameter. To expand the covered area, purchase as many extra transmitters as necessary - keeping in mind that your pet(s) may only cross from one covered area to the next where those areas have overlapping edges. Two transmitters, overlapping at the maximum distance recommended by the manufacturer (150 feet apart), will result in a maximum length of 330 feet and produce a figure eight design due to the circular nature of the transmitters covered areas (see image to the left).

Please note: Transmitters must stay dry. How far apart you may place your transmitters is dependant, in part, on where the transmitters can be placed within your home, garage, or other covered buildings.
